Internet Connection Repairs or Installation $39 ($50 Regional)

We will determine the problem with your broadband or Internet connection and perform needed repairs to insure a fast and reliable connection.

Wired or Wireless Network Troubleshooting & Repair $39 ($50 Regional)

Our expert technicians will find out why your network is not working right or is running too slowly and will make needed repairs to get your network back to top speed. Hardware and software are not included but are normally not needed unless existing hardware is defective.

Wired or Wireless Home Network Installation $39 ($39 Regional)

Install/configure a wired or wireless router (with appropriate security configuration) and connect two network-capable devices to it (hardware not included).

    * Additional devices: $24 each (does not include cell phones or PDAs)

 Wired or Wireless Device Connection To Existing Network $39 ($50 Regional)

Connect one existing network-capable device to your existing wired or wireless network . Includes NIC card installation if needed. Hardware, cables and running of cables between devices not included but available at additional cost (call for details).

    * Additional devices: $24 each (does not include cell phones or PDAs)

 Wireless Network Security Configuration $39 ($50 Regional)

We will configure your existing wireless router and up to three existing network-connected devices with proper security settings and encryption codes to prevent others from hacking into your systems or using your internet connection.

Windows & Software Repairs, Installations & Upgrades

 Windows OS and General PC Troubleshooting & Repairs $49 ($60 Regional)

Our technician will do whatever it takes to get your computer working properly again and back up to its maximum speed and performance level. Boot-up problems, lock-ups/freeze-ups, crashes, slow-downs, Windows malfunctions, and most any other problems with your PC or other system peripherals can be addressed and resolved with this service.

 Virus & Spyware Removal $49 ($60 Regional)

We will completely remove all viruses, spyware and other malware from your computer and install several virus/spyware prevention, detection, and removal tools to minimize the possibility of re-infection. We will also clean-up your hard drive of unneeded files. However, because of the nature of these infections we cannot provide any kind of guarantee that you won't become re-infected at a later time. Does not include OS reinstall.

Windows Installation or OS Upgrade $59 ($70 Regional)

Installation or upgrade of Windows operating system. Does not include Windows software, data backup/restoration, Windows Updates or Service Pack installation, or PC Optimization.

Attention: We recommend virus/spyware removal prior to an OS upgrade (see rates above)

Software Installation or Troubleshooting (standard software titles) $35 ($45 Regional)/First Title $15 per additional title

We will install or troubleshoot any standard software title and be sure it runs properly. Does not include operating system software or titles requiring network installation or extensive configuration. Tech Wizards will not install unlicensed or pirated software.

Software Installation or Troubleshooting (network/proprietary software titles) $39 ($50 Regional)

We will install or troubleshoot most proprietary (vertical market) software titles. This includes any title requiring network installation or extensive configuration after installation. Does not include operating system software. No Unlicensed or pirated software.

Hardware Repairs, Installations & Upgrades

Diagnostics & Estimates  $39 Flat Rate (waived if repairs are authorized)

Our expert technician will diagnose your problem and advise you as to the best solution. We will also provide a non-binding estimate of the cost of repairs, in writing if needed for an insurance repair cost quote. Limited to 45 minutes on-site or additional charges may apply. Diagnostic charge is waived is service is authorized within 15 minutes of technician's arrival.

Barebones Kit Assembly (we build your PC using your parts) $49 ($60 Regional)

We will install components provided by customer into a PC case provide by customer, and insure all working parts operate properly. Tech Wizards cannot and will not be responsible for defective parts provided by the customer, nor for missing drivers that cannot be located.

Hard Drive Installation/Replacement (no OS or data transfer) $39 ($50 Regional)

    * For laptops with internal-access hard drive: Add $29

This service includes only the installation of a new hard drive component or replacement of an existing hard drive component with a new hard drive component (not included).

Hard Drive Replacement with Image Transfer $39 ($50 Regional)

This service includes transferring the image of your existing (non-defective) hard drive to a new hard drive. Doesn't include cost of the new hard drive. Not available for laptops.

Hard Drive Replacement/Upgrade with OS Reinstall & Data Transfer $99

This service includes backing up the data from your existing (non-defective) hard drive, installing a new hard drive, reinstalling Windows operating system, and restoring data. Program installation CDs required. Does not include the cost of the new hard drive.

    * For laptops with internal-access hard drive: Add $29

    * Includes all Windows Updates

 Motherboard Replacement or Installation $39 ($50 Regional)

We will replace your existing motherboard, move the CPU from the old MB to the new MD, install needed drivers, and insure proper operation. Replacement MB/CPU not included but can be provided at additional cost. Tech Wizards cannot and will not be responsible for defective parts provided by the customer, nor for missing drivers that cannot be located.

    * For laptops add $59 (laptop MB replacements are done only in our shop)

CPU Replacement or Installation $29 ($39 Regional)

We will replace your CPU, install needed drivers, and insure proper operation. Replacement CPU not included but can be provided at additional cost. Tech Wizards cannot and will not be responsible for defective parts provided by the customer, nor for missing drivers that cannot be located.

    * For laptops add $49(laptop CPU replacements are done only in our shop)

RAM Memory Module Installation $29 ($39 Regional)

We will install RAM memory into available memory module slots and be sure it works properly. RAM memory not included but can be provided at additional cost. Please provide brand/model of PC if we will provide the RAM memory module(s).

    * For laptops with INTERNAL memory module slots: Add $20

Internal laptop memory slots are extra**

Desktop Computer Power Supply or Case Fan Replacement $29 ($39 Regional)

We will replace a defective desktop power supply or case fan (after testing it) and be sure the component works properly. Power supply or fan not included but can be provided at additional cost. Please provide brand/model of PC if we will provide the replacement component.

 Internal Desktop Component Installation $29 ($39 Regional)

Includes PCI or AGP cards, network cards, modems, CPU heat sinks, video & sound cards, CD/DVD drives, & hard drives (no OS install or data transfer). Wireless Network Card installation does not include connection to network.

    * Add wireless network card configuration: $20

    * Additional components installed at the same time: $20 each

Laptop Keyboard Replacement $49 ($59 Regional)

We will replace your defective laptop keyboard and be sure it works properly. Replacement keyboard not included but can be provided at additional cost (please provide brand/model of laptop is we will provide keyboard).

 Laptop Power Jack Repair $129 

The power jack of laptop computers is connected directly to the motherboard of the laptop and requires very careful, precise soldering for proper repair. If a replacement jack is required then a small additional cost may apply.

Includes pick-up and delivery to your (local) location

 Laptop Screen Display Repair (Power Inverter or Back Light) $89 ($99)

If your laptop screen is dark or has no display at all, in many cases the screens power inverter or back light needs to be replaced. This service does not include the replacement of broken or otherwise physically damaged or defective screens or inverter.

Includes pick-up and delivery to your (local) location

System Set-Up, Security & Tune-Ups

New Computer Set-Up $49 ($59 Regional)

We will un-box and set-up your new PC, monitor, USB-connected printer, keyboard, mouse & speakers, and UPS battery backup device; connect your PC to the Internet; and be sure everything is working properly. Includes our 15 Step Basic Security & Performance Check to insure maximum speed, performance and security. Hardware not included. Does not include setup of router, network or All-In-One device, or cable management.

Data Transfer From Old PC To New PC $39 ($49 Regional)

We will transfer all of your data, email messages, contacts/address books, IE favorites and bookmarks from your old PC to your new PC. Applications not included. Both PCs must be functional with all data readily accessible via normal Windows access methods.

    * Add Program Migration from one PC to another: $25 (includes reusable software)

Windows Vista TM Parental Controls Setup $39 ($49 Regional)

Our technician will guide you through the process for using the Content Advisor feature in Windows Vista to insure the each member of the family is protected from inappropriate or dangerous web content while still being able to take full advantage of the Internet.

WebWatcherTM Computer Monitoring Software Installation $179*

With WebWatcher you can record everything that happens on a computer and see it online from anywhere. Record emails, attachments, IM chats, even everything typed on the key-board! Screenshots too! This software can also block websites by content or keywords.

We will install the software and work with you to configure the settings to your needs.
